Once you unscrew it release the two latches and turn the wii drive on the bottom side. It is connected by 4 screws holding it to the motherboard. Open up the wii and get to the drive itself. 5 out of 10 times it works and you can read a game. Thats fine, you never know if a wiis drive is faulty till you try to clean the lens yourself. Now you say my friend doesnt have a wii or the wii drives dont match. After that follow with custom usb loader and everything should work.
